Daniel C. Jacobsen
Daniel C. Jacobsen is founding partner of Urwantschky Jacobsen.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Konstanz, focusing especially on labour and social law.
Following the first state exam, he initially worked as a research assistant and lecturer at the Chair for Civil Law, Labour Law and Social Security Law of Prof. Dr. Winfried Boecken, LL.M.
He completed his legal traineeship in Ulm with further stations at the Regional Court of Ulm, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Ulm, the Social Court of Ulm and the 20th Civil Senate (Corporate Law Senate) of the Higher Regional Court in Stuttgart.
Daniel worked independently in the field of management consulting before he started working as a lawyer in a locally mid-size law firm.
In 2023, he founded Urwantschky Jacobsen together with Dr. Peter Urwantschky LL.M. Urwantschky Jacobsen.
He is the author of various academic publications, including several essays in the field of labour and social law and co-author of a study book on labour and social law and a major commentary on labour law.
Daniel specialises in the representation of national and international clients in commercial law with a focus on individual and collective labor law as well as commercial and corporate law issues, e.g. M&A transactions. In the aviation sector, Daniel handles aircraft transactions, regulatory issues and major liability claims for domestic and international clients such as airlines, insurers, reinsurers, manufacturers, lessors, lessees and handlers.
Daniel is a member of the board of the Caritasverein Illertissen e.V. (illerSENIO).
